Supporting members impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred

At Avant, we stand with our members, especially in times of hardship. At a time of widespread damage due to the impact of Tropical Cyclone Alfred, we want to provide additional help for Avant members once again. 

For members adversely affected by the inclement weather, we may waive your premium for three months, without impacting your cover. 

To be eligible for this assistance, members need to: 

  • be working or living in an area impacted by the cyclone; 
  • have a current Avant practitioner and/or practice policy; 
  • be eligible for a Disaster Recovery Payment
