Avant Mutual 2026 Annual General Meeting
The Avant Mutual Board is pleased to invite members to attend this year's Annual General Meeting (AGM). This AGM will be an opportunity for members to hear how their mutual has performed over the past year and the outcome of the 2026 Voting Member Director Election.
Purpose of the meeting
The Annual General Meeting of Avant Mutual Group Limited ACN 123 154 898, is held to announce the result of the Voting Member Director election, and to report to members on Avant’s activities and performance during the 2025-26 financial year.
Both Voting and Student Members are invited to attend. As the meeting is only to share information, there will be no voting by members on any of the matters discussed at the meeting.
Date: Wednesday, 18 November 2026
Time: 6.00pm (AEDT)
In person: Avant's Sydney office, Level 6, Darling Park, Tower 3, 201 Sussex Street, Sydney. Please arrive by 5.30pm (AEDT) to allow time to register.
Online: This year's AGM is a hybrid meeting. As a member you can join and participate online from wherever you are. See below for information on how to join the AGM virtually.
Items of Business
Item 1: Welcome
Welcome address from Dr Steve Hambleton, Chair of the Avant Mutual Board. Dr Hambleton will provide a verbal report on Avant’s activities supporting members over the 2025-26 financial year.
Item 2: Business of Avant
A review of the year will be presented by Mr Adrian Urquhart, Avant’s Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
Item 3: Financial Report
Financial, Directors’ and Auditor’s Reports for the financial year ended 30 June 2026 will be presented by Ms Jenny Saliba, Avant’s Chief Financial Officer.
Item 4: Result of the Voting Member Director Election
Ms Libby Joyner, Company Secretary, will declare the result of the 2026 Voting Member Director Election.
Item 5: Closing Remarks from the Chair
Dr Hambleton will provide his closing remarks and declare the meeting closed.

- To join on the evening of the AGM, enter your Avant Member ID and verification PIN, which will be your date of birth (DDMM).
- This link will provide access to the meeting from 5pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, 18 November 2026.

Questions for the Board or Executive
Questions for the Board and Avant Executive Leadership Team are welcome and can be submitted in advance of the AGM by email to AvantAGM@avant.org.au any time before Monday 16 November 2026 at 6:00pm (AEDT).
If you'd like to ask a question at the AGM, you can do so in person or by joining the online meeting.
Appointing a proxy
Voting members may appoint a proxy to attend the meeting and vote on their behalf. Proxies need not be members of Avant and can be an individual or a body corporate. Only one proxy can be appointed for each member.
To appoint a proxy please go to www.votingservices.com.au/avant-agm and complete the online form. The completed proxy form must be submitted by 6.00pm (AEDT) on Monday 16 November 2026 to allow your nominated proxy to attend the AGM.
