Notice of Meeting

Members are invited to attend this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Avant Mutual Group Limited ACN 123 154 898.

The Annual General Meeting is held to report to members on Avant Mutual’s activities and performance during the 2024-25 financial year. At this year’s AGM we are proposing amendments to the constitution of Avant Mutual, and we encourage members to attend and exercise their right to vote.

Wednesday 19 November 2025 at 11am (AEDT)

Members can also attend at one of the below Avant offices to view a live streaming of the AGM:

Brisbane: Level 18, 345 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000 (Meeting starts 10am AEST)

Please arrive 30 minutes before the meeting starts to allow time for registration.

Constitutional change proposed

The Avant Mutual Board is proposing that the Avant Mutual Constitution be amended to:

  1. provide flexibility for Avant Mutual to pay dividends to members based on a wider range of factors than their financial contribution to Avant Mutual or one of its related bodies corporate; and
  2. change the Board composition requirements to cater for proposed changes to APRA Prudential Standard CPS 510 Governance.

Reports for the 2024–25 financial year

  • Annual Report – information on our many and varied activities to support members and how we are looking after members’ assets.
  • Financial Report – details of Avant’s financial performance for the financial year ended 30 June 2025.
  • Remuneration Report – information on our approach to remuneration for both the Board and Executive team.

Submitting questions in advance or during the meeting

Members may submit questions relating to the business of the meeting in advance by email to AvantAGM@avant.org.au. Questions will close on Wednesday 5 November 2025, and answers will be provided at the AGM.

Members will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the meeting.

Appointing a proxy

Voting members may appoint a proxy to attend the meeting and vote on their behalf.

The completed proxy form must be submitted by 11.00am (AEDT) on Monday, 17 November 2025. Proxy forms received after this time will result in a nominated proxy being unable to attend or vote at the AGM.
